Dr. Jan Boublik is on faculty at Stanford University in Stanford, CA He graduated medical school from Medizinische Hochschule Hannover (Hannover Medical School) in Hannover, Germany where he also received his PhD in Bioengineering (tissue engineering). During his PhD, he also was appointed as Visiting Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST) for two years in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Langer. Li wen received the B.S. degrees in 1992, from the Department of Chemistry and Chemica Engineering, Henan University, China. She got the M.S. degree in 1998 from the Department of Chemistry, Zhengzhou University, China. After completion of his masters he started his career in the pharmaceutical industry and concurrently completed his Ph.D from Srikrishnadevaraya University in Anantapur, India, working under the direction of Dr. Kondra Sudhakar Babu. He has 10 years pharmaceutical industry experience. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow under prof. Tariq M. Rana at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). The main focus of his current research is the development of new strategies for the synthesis of biologically active molecules against Zika and Cancer, methyltransferase inhibitors, and Vif inhibitors.
