Dr Bhavna Gupta, an Indian citizen, have completed my tenure as MBBS student from prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College. Thereafter I did my Diploma in anaesthesia from Maulana Azad Medical College and associated hospitals, and my Diplomate of National Board from Batra Hospital and Medical research Centre. During my MBBS tenure I received Gold Medal for standing first in ophthalmology in year 2007. I was awarded ‘Sh Pran Nath and Smt Shanti Devi Sharma’ medal for securing first position in ophthalmology in year 2007, awarded ‘Captain S. Bhattacharya’s Prize for Best Student in ophthalmology and ENT and was awarded ‘Hari Mirchandani’ Silver Medal for best all-rounder in Labour room posting. I am currently working as Senior resident and researcher at Maulana Azad Medical College and associated Lok Nayak hospital. During my senior residency, I was awarded Archie Brain Award (first prize)’ in competitive paper section for best paper at ISACON 14th annual conference at Medanta-the Medicity Gurugram. I was awarded as the Best Author of Indian Journal of clinical Anaesthesia. I was awarded Scholarship award by International KoreAnesthesia 2018 conference. I was also awarded the first prize for the poster on the topic – “Anesthetic Considerations in a case of turner syndrome with anti-NMDA encephalitis and multiple co-morbidities for repair of fracture femur” in conference held at Covention center, Jamia Hamdard Campus on 22nd October 2018. I have written many manuscripts in peer indexed national and international journals, I have also authored multiple chapters in International Text books. I have also authored a text book for post graduates and undergraduates which is under publication. I am editor and reviewer of multiple national and international journals as well.
