Dr. Waritsara Somkeatkun earned her B.A. in Computer Information Management (CIM) at St’s John College, and went on to earn her MBA in Management from Walailak University, researching combined marketing and management. She completed Ph.D. in Management from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). She had worked in secretary to the rector for ten years at Suratthani Rajabhat University. After that, she has taught at Faculty of Management Science for six years in the fields of Strategic Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Franchise Business and Office Management at Suratthani Rajabhat University. She has conducted research funded by ThaiHealth under the title is “Participation in Community’s Environmental Management for Development: A Case Study of Nam Phut Community, Langu District, Satun Province, Thailand”. Her research was selected to present at the academic conference at Uttaradit Rajabhat University and her article was also selected to publish as the case support in tourism issue. She has an interest in studying the improving of income to the community by using tourism as a selling point to the area; and then her research has got research fund from the Thai Research Funded (TRF) under the research title is “Establishing of creative tourism route in Chaiya district, Suratthani Province, Thailand”. Her research was selected by the research fund committee to be the main link to other research topics in tourism issue research as the innovative program on tourism development and management systems on the creative community base in Srivijaya Civilization route in Suratthani. She has extensive experiences in teaching and doing research. She loved it!
