Onur Çakır is working as a lecturer in Department of Tourism Management at Kirklareli University, Turkey. He holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Tourism Management.

His research interests include organizational behavior and organizational motivation systems, hotel management, sustainable tourism, rural tourism, and tourism education.
