Conduct conferences, workshop and training activities To uplift publication activities by initiating journals and book publications. Verify and track all MoU and project deadlines to facilitate smooth workflow in University College process. Initiate research project independently or with joint collaboration. Supervise research scholars and guide them in their research activities. Editing and Reviewing publications activities both National and International level.

• Research fellow in the project “Molecular Diagnosis of Thalassaemias” funded by Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences, from March 1999 - October 2000. • Research fellow in the collaborative research project at Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences on “Programme of Functional Genomics on study of Haemoglobinopathies in North East India” funded by Centre for Biochemical Technology, Delhi, from November 2000 – March 2002. • Research fellow in the project “Study of anaemias and deficiency states affecting tribal population of the North East India with a view to provide counseling and prevention using biotechnological methods of diagnosis and value added dietary supplementation” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, from June 2002 – March 2005. • Research Fellow in the project “Study of genotypic predisposition to oral cancer modified by tea : a collaborative study of the population of Assam” funded by National Tea Research Foundation, Kolkata, India from April 2005- March 2007. • Senior Scientist, Molecular Genetics & QA Manager, Neon Healthcare & Research Institute Ltd., Kolkata, from July 2006- February 2008.
