Prof. Dr. TAGELDEEN is a tourism and hotel management graduate, holder of MBA from the American University in Cairo and PhD degree from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford School of Hospitality Management in UK. He has both academic and industry experience for over 30 years on both the national and international levels, in Egypt, UK, Senegal, Kuwait and Germany. He is also a Certified Hospitality and Tourism Management Consultant by Alexandria University, Egypt.

His research interests are primarily in the areas of general management, hospitality management, marketing, customer service, tourism potential, climate change, human rights, environmental management, human resources and sustainable development. In addition, Prof. Dr. TAGELDEEN has also supervised several Diploma, Master and PhD research theses.
