Graduated in Dentistry from Universidade Veiga de Almeida, Specialist in Periodontics, Stomatology, Buco-Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology and in Project Management (MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas). Master in Periodontics and PhD in Biological Sciences, Carlos Chagas Filho Biophysics Institute, both from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the PNPD / CAPES of the Federal University of Rondônia. He is currently linked to Aparício Carvalho Educational Group as Professor, Researcher and Management Support, associated to ABENO; member of the Research Ethics Committee, member of the Editorial Board of scientific journals and Leader of the Research Group: Laboratory of Epidemiological Research and Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyzes. Lines of Research: Epidemiology and Dentistry in the Amazon, Periodontal Medicine, Clinical and Aesthetic Periodontics, Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis, Health of Traditional Amazonian Populations and Environment, Environment and Health. Project Management and Office (PMO) for scientific research at the academy. He is a collaborating professor of the Postgraduate Program in Regional Development and Environment at UNIR, where he directs Master's and Ph.D. and is attached to the Research Group of the Environmental Biogeochemistry Laboratory Wolfgang C. Pfeiffer and, contributes to Master's Degree in Dentistry / Periodontics in UFRJ.
