Research Interest :

The clinical activity of prof. Gabriele Finco has been implemented to date in the field of anesthesia, resuscitation and antalgic therapy. In the field of anesthesia the prof. Finco has worked clinically and scientifically in the different types of abdominal, thoracic, vascular, endocrinological, pediatric, pediatric, orthopedic, otorhinolaryngology, maxillofacial, gynecological, plastic, one-day surgery and diagnostic surgery. Particular attention has been paid to the organization of perioperative care of the surgical patient inside the hospital. He also worked on the organization of analgesia during labor delivery from 1994 to 2000. In the field of resuscitation, prof. Finco has carried out an intense clinical activity. Particular interests in this area were the postoperative treatment of the patient undergoing major hepatic surgery, of the patient with endocrinological problems, of the septic patient, of the patient with kidney problems. In recognition of the intensivistic activity exercised, from April 2001 he was appointed head of the Reanimation Section of the Department of Anesthesiological Sciences and Specialist Surgery of the University of Verona, a position he held until December 2004.
