Dr. Anna Capozzi was born on 24th February 1983 in Italy. She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery at Catholic University of Sacred Heart in 2008. She specialized with honors in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at Catholic University of Sacred Heart in 2014 presenting a thesis entitled “Clinical approach to painful osteoporotic vertebral compressive fractures treated with percutaneous vertebroplasty”. From 2015, she is working in Department of Woman and Child Health of Policlinico Agostino Gemelli Foundation of Rome in the field of Osteoporosis, Menopause and Gynecological Endocrinology. She deals with pathophysiology of bone loss and pharmacological treatment of osteoporosis in different ages. She wrote several original articles and reviews in the field of osteoporosis and its therapeutic approach. She took part of many conferences as speaker about bone metabolism and fracture risk.
