Dr. M. Walid Qoronfleh is currently the Director of Healthcare Research and Policy at the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH). Immediately prior to this he was Biotechnology Development Director at Hamad Bin Khalifa University - Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (HBKU-QBRI). Dr. Qoronfleh’s areas of research are biotechnology, diagnostics, and precision medicine/healthcare and he has over 20 years of scientific, technology, business, and commercial experience. He has held several senior management and executive positions with increasing responsibilities at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Sanofi, US_National Institutes of Health–National Cancer Institute (NIH-NCI), NextGen Sciences (VP, Personalized Medicine) and SDIX (Executive Director, Diagnostics business, Nasdaq: SDIX).
