Dr. Grace Chan, Assistant Professor of City University of Macau. Her main task includes research project, academic writing and teaching. She obtained the best award academic staff in 2016-2017 at City University of Macau. She received her Doctorate Degree in Hospitality and Tourism and her Master Degree in Marketing Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. Aforementioned information, before she works for City University of Macau, she taught different subject in marketing and hospitality subjects in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University of Hong Kong. She has substantial teaching experience in both local and overseas tertiary institutions. She expertise area focus in travel and tourism field. Dr. Chan is also an active participant in the academic community and has published in various academic journals and research project from the government .She authoring or co-authoring a significant numbers of articles in tourism, hospitality and marketing journals, proceeding, book chapter in relating to the tourism service and event industry in both Hong Kong and Macau.

Prior to joining the education industry, Dr. Chan worked for Cathay Pacific Airways and followed by her working experience in the in-bound tour operator at Abercrombie and Kent H.K (Ltd). She has been invited to deliver presentations in renowned cruise lines for promoting Hong Kong as a destination. She had extensive experience in mega event handling particular in planning and logistics approach. Through her 20 years solid working experience, she has developed an interest in the tourism industry. She aligned with industry practitioner form a crisis management workshop for the vocational school. Her research interests are in the area of the travel agencies as well as for the business operations, marketing strategies and implementing revenue management for hospitality business.
