I have been teaching both UG and PG to veterinary students for more than 12 years at two different institutes (Veterinary College, Hassan and Bangalore) and presently, working as Associate Professor(Independent Charge) at Veterinary College, Hebbal, Bangalore. I have interest in Animal welfare issues and their alleviation after doing two independent online courses viz. “Animal Welfare Assessment” (ANS 805-730) by Michigan University, USA from 10th Oct- 5th Dec, 2008. “Basic Concepts in Animal Welfare-AW01, Cambridge e Learning Institute, UK from 4 November 2013 -23 February 2014 and course. I was designated as Key Driver for cause of Animal Welfare from WSPA, UK, from 2009-2016.

I have also taught animal welfare to PG students. Hence, keeping my experience on the subject and good exposure on distance education method, I feel I am fit for counseling the students on the above subject
