Fereshteh Komijani is a researcher of ocean engineering at NAMROOD Consulting Engineers Co. Dr. Komijani received his B.S. with distinction in Applied Physics from Alzahra University, Iran in 2005. For her Master's thesis from Tarbiat Modares University, Dr. Komijani worked on studding of seasonal variations, including Gonu hurricane effects on physical properties of Chahbahar Bay water by applying statistical techniques on observational data (2008). She received her Ph.D. in physical oceanography from Khoramshahr Marine Science and Technology University in 2015. Her Ph.D. work involved physical modeling of rip current systems in Mazandaran province of Iran by coupling ROMS and SWAN models.
