Biography :

Dr. Lin completed his cardiovascular surgery training in Tri-Service General Hospital and Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan in 2004. He took the position of Attending Surgeon in Tri-Service General Hospital and Lecturer in National Defense Medical Center in 2004. In 2010, he completed a one-year fellowship in Children’s Hospital Boston, MA, USA and became the Assistant Professor in National Defense Medical Center. In 2011. He was appointed as Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery in Tri-Service General Hispital and completed his PhD in 2015 from National Yang-Ming University in Taipei, Taiwan. At present, he is the Attending Surgeon in Cardiovascular Surgery of Tri-Service General Hospital and Associate Professor in National Defense Medical Center. Dr. Lin’s clinical interests include various cardiovascular surgeries including adult and congenital cardiac operations, great vessel operation and aortic stenting, peripheral vascular intervention and vascular access operation. His research works focus on the investigation of the mechanism of cardiomyopathy and vasculopathy related to chronic kidney disease and aging.
