Manuscript Preparation
Submission of an Article
The Manuscript/Article submission process in the SciTech Central Journals is quite a simple and quick process.
Article/Manuscripts can be submitted by one of the author/corresponding author, who is listed in the manuscript while submitting the manuscript files.
The submission of manuscript files should be in Word or PDF (pdf, doc, docx,) format.
Submit manuscripts as an e-mail attachment via mail to submissions@scitcentral.com
A manuscript number will be emailed to the corresponding author within 72 hours.

All the Authors are encouraged to provide the names and contact information for 3–5 external reviewers, though Associate Editors are not obligated to use these suggestions. Authors may also indicate researchers whom they feel should not review the submission.
Article Preparation Guidelines
Papers must be clearly written in English. Authors are expected to attach an electronic covering letter completely mentioning the type of manuscript (e.g, Research article, Review articles, Brief Reports, Case study etc.) and assure that the article submitted for review/publication is not under consideration elsewhere simultaneously. If you have any financial support or grants from any external source then clearly mention the same to avoid future discrepancies. The manuscript should contain the complete details of the corresponding author along with the affiliations of all the other authors.
Article Types to be Submitted
We accepts various formats of literary works such as research articles, reviews, abstracts, addendums, announcements, article-commentaries, book reviews, rapid communications, letters to the editor, annual meeting abstracts, conference proceedings, calendars, case-reports, corrections, discussions, meeting-reports, news, obituaries, orations, product reviews, product information, opinion, hypotheses and analyses, etc.
Articles Type Structure Format
Research Article:
- Research articles should present original research that adds to the body of knowledge.
- Follows the outline of Title, Author(s) & affiliations, Corresponding author details; Abstract; Keywords; Abbreviations; Introduction; Materials and methods; Results and discussion; Conclusion; References.
- Word limit is 5000 words
- Supported by significant and relevant amount of data
- Tables, graphs, pictures and illustrations wherever necessary
Review Articles
- Review is an attempt to summarize and evaluate published information and data from many authors and sources.
- Follows the outline of Title, Author(s) & affiliations, Corresponding author details; Abstract; Keywords; Abbreviations; Introduction; Sub headings and sub-sub headings; Conclusion; References
- Word limit is 5000 words
- Tables, graphs, pictures and illustrations wherever necessary
- Usually includes a large number of references and must be based on necessary citations, providing complete reference at the end of the article.
Commentaries
Commentaries are opinion articles which represents the perspective/opinion/hypothesis” of the author. These articles are written by experienced writers on recent development/innovation/research findings that falls in scope of the journal.
- Does not follow the outline of Introduction, Materials/Methods, Discussion/Conclusions, and References
- Word limit is 2000 words
- Tables, graphs, pictures and illustrations wherever necessary
- Brief conclusion, citing the references at the end.
Case Study
- Case studies describe a particular technology or application which contains original data generated in the process of developing the technology or in support of the application.
- Follows the outline of Title, Author(s) & affiliations, Corresponding author details; Abstract; Keywords; Case Presentation, Discussion/Conclusion; References.
- Word limit is 1500 words.
- Supported by a significant amount of data
Editorials
- Editorials are written by Editorial Board Members or Invited Guest Editors on a currently published article/issue on variety of subjects of interest.
- Follows the outline of Title, Author(s) & affiliations, Corresponding author details; Text description, References.
- Word limit is 1500 words.
- Clinical Images
- Clinical Images are photographic depictions which include clinical images, diagnostic or investigative images especially images in radiology, endoscopy, pathology and cytopathology.
- Follows the outline of Title, Author(s) & affiliations, Corresponding author details; One short paragraph describing the Image.
- Word limit is 150 words.
- References and citations are not mandatory.
Letters to the Editor
- Letter to Editors are comprehensive reports of cases/research findings related to previously published articles.
- Follows the outline of Title, Author(s) & affiliations, Corresponding author details; Text description,
References.
- Word limit is 500-1000 words.
- Abstract is not required and letter should not be divided into sections.
Perspective
- Perspective provides a forum for authors to discuss models and ideas from a personal viewpoint.
- Follows the outline of Title, Author(s) & affiliations, Corresponding author details; Text description, References.
- Word limit is 1000 words.
- Perspectives follow the same formatting guidelines as Reviews.
Preparation of Manuscript
Abstract: The word limit for Abstract is 250-300 words depending on article type. Abstract should summarize the article in a short and accurate way without any citations.
Keywords: An article should contain minimum 4-6 Keywords to get more readership and citations for the manuscript. Keywords must be separated by semicolon.
Abbreviations: Abbreviations are the short forms used in the manuscript. All the abbreviations used in the manuscript must be mentioned and separated by semicolon.
Body Text: Body text should be followed with the above mentioned structure format depending on the article type.
Figures & Tables: Figures submitted must be compatible with clarity or high resolution quality. Figures submitted should be atleast 300 dpi, submitted in Tiff, Giff or JPEG formats only. Figure legends must be mentioned below each figure at the end of manuscript and figure numbers must be mentioned in the body text sequentially. Tables should be presented in Table format. Table legends must be mentioned below the Table at the end of manuscript below figures.
Equations and Formulas: For mathematical symbols, Greek letters and other special characters, use normal text or Symbol font.
Supplementary Information: Supplementary information is usually provided as an essential background to the Article and which is not essential for inclusion, in the full text of the manuscript. The supplementary information should not contain any figures and it may have Supplementary tables. Supplementary information is published as a separate pdf along with manuscript.
References: References should be in a proper format. All the references including URLs are numbered successively within square brackets, in the same order of their appearance in the text.
