Biography :

Dianping Tang, Full Professor for Analytical Chemistry at the Fuzhou University, China, was born in 1972. He received the diploma degree in biochemistry from Sichuan Three Gorges University of China in 1986, and PhD from the Southwest University of China in 2008. His research interests mainly include Clinical/Environmental immunoassays, Biological and Chemical microsensors, Synthesis and application of advanced functional nanomaterials, Fabrication of microfluidic device. At present, projects are focused on two areas: (i) Synthesis of advanced functional nanomaterials and application in biological and chemical microsensors, (ii) design and fabrication of a new family of immunoassays based on micro- and nanofluidic devices. The detection methods mainly consist of electrochemistry, surface plasma resonance (SPR), quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) techniques and immunoaffinity chromatography. He received the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship in 2008, and worked Technische Universitat Munchen, Germany, from 2008 to 2009. Importantly, he was selected amongst the 100 most influential People in the Analytical Scientist in 2013. He is currently a member within the editorial board of “Analytical Chemistry”, “Scientific Reports” and “Microchimica Acta”. Up to now, more than 100 publications under his authorship appeared in reviewed international scientific journals.
