Biography :

Dr. Huang is currently the vice director of the National Engineering Research Center of Ophthalmology & Optometry, School of Ophthalmology and Optometry and Eye Hospital Wenzhou Medical University (China). He is also the deputy director of the OCULUS Asia-Pacific Research Training Center; Specialized Committee youth member of Evidence-based medicine. He was a visiting scholar to both America and Australia, and member of ASCRS, ESCRS, AAO and ARVO. He was chosen into the Talent Cultivation Program for Future Vision Care Leadership, New Medical Telent in Zhejiang Province, ‘551’ Talent Project of Wenzhou City, and is a core member of the Key Innovation Team of Wenzhou city. His main achievements have been included in the 2015-2016 edition (33rd ed.) of the Marquis Who's Who. He sits in the editor board of the PLOS ONE and are reviewers for leading ophthalmology journals including Ophthalmology and JCRS Dr. Huang has led or involved in more than 20 key research projects supported by the National Science and Technology Major Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, He has published more than 110 research papers in leading international journals, in which 60 are indexed in SCI, with one of which having a impact factor of 53.29, the number of references is 500 times, and the H index is 14. He has also published 24 scientific papers with the National Medical Journal of China, and is an editor of five ophthalmology publications. He has presented 30 conference papers in various national conferences and has been awarded one national invention patent, with another eight such patents accepted. Dr Huang’s research papers have received numerous rewards including the ‘Exceptional’ article by the Faculty of 1000 Medicine, Best Young Researcher Paper by the International Congress of Ophthalmology and Optometry China (COOC), Excellent Young Expert Speech by the Chinese Cornea Society Congress, Best Paper by the National Congress of Corneal Refractive Surgery, Best Paper by the China Optometry Academic Conference, Travel Grant, and Exceptional Paper by the University Foundation for the Education of Medical Service and Health Care, Taiwan.
