Dr. K.R. Jadhav is a Vice Principal and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics in B.V.’s College of Pharmacy, Mumbai, India. He received his B. Pharm, M. Pharm. and PhD degree from Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune, India. Prof. K. R. Jadhav has more than 17 years of research experience in the field of novel drug delivery systems. He has successfully guided 31 M. Pharm students. Currently 2 PhD and 4 M. Pharm students are working under him. He has 57 publications (International: 41 and National: 16) in the field of novel drug delivery and nanotechnology till now. He has also authored three book Chapter (Springer-Verlag publication). He has served as a reviewer for various national and international journals. He has won awards for his various research presentations at national and international conferences. He has been honored with Bharati Vidyapeeth “Seva Gaurav” Award in year 2013.

Field of Expertise: Solid Lipid Nanoparticles, Organogels, Gastro- retentive drug delivery system, Microemulsions, Ion exchange resins for extended drug delivery system, Self microemulsifying drug delivery system and Co-processed excipients for modified drug release.
