Deepti Srivastava working as an Assistant Professor, in Integral Institute of of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Integral University, Lucknow from 1 September 2016 to till date. Worked on a project from CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow from 26 June 2015 to 31 August 2016. Did Ph.D. in Agricultural Biotechnology from Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology under Prof.Dr.K.N.Singh from 2010 to 2016.Did M.Sc.in Agricultural Biotechnology in 2010 from Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology. Topic of my Ph.D. research was gene pyramiding in Kalanamak rice using marker assisted backcross.” In master degree research programme, I did “DNA fingerprinting and protein profiling of bottle gourd (Lagenaria siceraria [Mol.]Standl. Varieties.” During past years ,I was engaged in various research topics such as DNA fingerprinting of blast fungus (P.oryzae) along with biochemical analysis of Kalanamak,Tetep and its crosses after P.oryzae infection, evaluation of major cereal crops for resistance against Rhizoctonia solani under green house and field conditions, identification of female and hermaphrodite specific markers , diversity assessment in Papaya (Carica papaya) cultivars, efficacy of jackfruit protease inhibitor and Bt protein against yellow and pink stem borers of rice.
