The PI is a medical scientist with training in medicine and biomedical sciences. The PI’s major research areas consist of the molecular and cellular regulation of lipid metabolites on vascular diseases.

In particular, the research is focused on understanding the molecular regulation of prostacyclin, prostaglandin E2 and thromboxane biosyntheses (through the cyclooxygenase pathway) and signaling (through their receptors).
