Biography : I immigrated to the USA after completing medical school from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore , India in 1986. I met my beautiful wife Renuka, who grew up in Colombia, south Carolina, USA, during my residency training in 1988. She has been my inspiration to pursue clinical research to identify the core underlying dysfunction that causes relentless conditions such as cardiomyopathy and type-II diabetes. After completion of my training in medicine and fellowship in Interventional cardiology I joined private practice in 1993. Pursuing my goal to identify the underlying crux problem in diabetes and cardiovascular diseases I discovered autonomic imbalance and also developed novel cost effective endovascular interventional techniques. In 2005 I established Revascularization by Novel Utilization of devices and Clinical Autonomic research institute - RENU-CA research institute. My current practice is through RENU-CA institute. |
