Dr. B. B. Meshram (IEEE SM '14,ACM NOV’15 CSI M'05, IAENG M'10) Professor and Former Head of Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology, Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Matunga Mumbai 400019, has obtained his Bachelor’s degree (Computer Engineering), M.E. (Electronics Engineering) and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology (SGGSIE&T), Nanded (MS) India. He has obtained Bachelor’s degree (LLB) from Mumbai University and LLM (Constitutional law). From Sandip University, Nashik. He is also Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator(CHFI) EC-Council USA Certified. He is a teacher, trainer and consultant in the field of Computer Engineering and Information Technology. He is actively participated in delivering guest lectures and tutorials. He has authored seven books and over 375+ publications at national and international and filed eight patents. His publications citation count is 1515. h-index- 18 and i10-index -38. He has organized several workshops & seminars in the field of computer engineering and Information technology

His research interests are Multimedia Databases,Modern Information Systems, Information & Cloud Security and Digital Forensic. Beyond the researcher, he also runs the Jeman Educational Society to uplift the needy and deprived students of the society, as a responsibility towards the society and the Nation. He is collaborator and a listener, well-organized and change agent.
