For being M.Sc. (Ag.) Agricultural Economics from CSAUA&T, Kanpur in 1998, he was awarded Ph.D. (Agricultural Economics) by CSAUA&T, Kanpur in 2001. Presently, he is working as Principal Scientist, ICAR- Indian Institute of Seed Science, Kushmaur, Mau, Uttar Pradesh. He started his career as Scientist in September 2001 at Indian Lac Research Institute, Ranchi, Jharkhand. He has successfully handled 19 Project as PI or Co-PI sponsored by various agencies. He has published 10 research papers in International, 39 in National and 2 in Regional Journals. He has published 77 Conference abstract/papers, 14 Technical Report/bulletin, 67 Popular articles, 16 Extension bulletin and 44 Book Chapters/Chapters in training manuals. He has delivered 4 Radio talks and 2 TV talks. He received 20 awards and honors at national level by various societies and organizations. He has organized 9 training programmes in the field of lac, natural resins & gums, seed and acted as resource person in 16 training programme at national and international level. He is Life membership of eight professional societies/ bodies.

Area of working is Agricultural Economics and specialization in the field of production economics, impact assessment, socio-economic study, estimation methodology, agriculture growth modelling, agricultural marketing and price behaviour study.
