I was born in 1950 in Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, Azerbaijan. I graduated from the Department of Mechanics-Mathematics of the Baku State University in 1972. In 1977, I graduated from the post-graduate courses of the Central Institute of Economics & Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) in Moscow and became a PhD. I am one of the first experts applying Mathematics in Sociology in the USSR. My key research area is the issues of management of social and economic processes. My doctoral thesis is dedicated to these issues. I am the founder of the Science of Applied Sociology in Azerbaijan. The Science of Ahangyol (Way of Harmony), a new science that I have proposed is highly valued by a range of leading scientific centers of the world. I am the author of up to 150 scientific theses and thousands of publicistic articles, 7 scientific books, and monographies. I give lectures in Azerbaijani universities.
