Biography :

Born in the town Uzice in 1962. Graduated classical archaeology in 1987 at Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. Became M A of classical archaeology in 1992. and Ph D of classical archaeology in 1996. Worked in Institute of Arcaeology in Belgrade since 1993. Worked in National museum in Uzice from 1988 to 1992. Participated in archaeological project of researching settlements and communications of the Roman period in the eastern part of the Roman province of Dalmatia. Took a part in numerous International Conference in her country and abroad (Croatia, Roumenia, Bulgaria, Albania). Published numerous papers in her country and abroad (Germany, Croatia, Roumenia, Bulgaria, USA), and two books abroad. Published PhD theisis in Oxford (publisher BAR- British Archaeological Reports) and one book in Germany (publisher LAP – Lambert Academic Publishing). Received two prizes from The Government of Science. One in the year of 2002 as the one who became the doctor of science in a record time, and the second for the results of work in the period from 2002 to 2003 year in this year.

Research Interest :

Specialty areas of researching: urbanization, cultural anthropology of the Roman period (social hierarchy, blood kinship, social structure of population, religion, cultural relationship), roman art, grave and votive monuments.
