Dr. Man-U Io is currently the Assistant Professor at the School Of Hospitality And Event Management, Macao Institute for Tourism Studies, Macao SAR. She has been teaching and researching in the field of tourism and hospitality for over ten years. Her research interests include cultural heritage, tourism psychology, hospitality, and tourist experience.

She is serving as a regular reviewer for a number of first-tier tourism journals, such as Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Tourism Management, Current issues in Tourism, International Journal of Hospitality Management.
