Head of the Lab for the Biology of Aging at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel. The author of over 80 scientific articles on systems biology of aging, tissue repair and cellular senescence.

To this end, searching for metabolic and genetic determinants of life span and the major human pathologies, and the ways for achieving healthy longevity are at the top priority of his research interests.
