Dr Abdellatif is a specialty doctor in Histopathology at Mid Essex Hospital, UK. She has obtained a PhD degree from the University of Manchester in bone Pathology in 2012 and MD in Pathology from Cairo University in 2013. Her research interest is in bone and soft tissue and rheumatology. She has been awarded a PGCert in Medical Education from Edge Hill University in 2018 and an MAcadeMed from the Academy of Medical Educators in 2019. She is a co-author of a chapter in a Rheumatology textbook and one of the authors for the bone and soft tissue section for the” PathologyOutlines” a free online textbook in Pathology. She is an editor for the Clinical Pathology and Research Journal and a reviewer for BMJ case reports. She is a “Clinical Trials Expert Reviewer” of the Clinical Trials Pathology Advisory Group Experts (CT-PAG), National Cancer Research Network, UK. She was a coopted member for SASC for the 2018-2019 cycle. Currently, she is a Mentor for junior doctors in the East of England mentoring network and a trust appraiser.
