Biography :

 Over 6 years of project and laboratory management experience at VIDO and College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.  Involved in designing, planning and execution phases of several successful biomedical research projects.  Managed the budgets of research projects and maintained laboratory chemical purchase orders  Involved in preparing SOPs and data sheets for analysis and subsequent publications in high impact factor journals  Supervised highly qualified research staffs including summer students and graduate students (MSc and Ph.D. students) under the directions of PI.  Acted as immediate supervisor of research technicians involved in managing and maintaining various laboratory equipment and performing experimental protocols.

 DNA repair  Chromatin dynamics and transcription.  Molecular Virology and Vaccinology of emerging infectious diseases.  Eukaryotic translation initiation  Noncoding RNA  Epigenetics.  Gene expression.  Neuroscience and gene therapy.  RNA biology/processing.  Cell signaling in different physiological conditions.  Protein chemistry.  Biology of interactions in different disease states.
