Biography :

• Demonstrator of Microbiology, Botany dept., Fac. of Sci., Tanta, Egypt (1986-1992). • Assistant lecturer of Mycology, Tanta University (1992-1993) • Guest researcher (Egyptian Ph.D. channel system) at Virginia polytechnic and State University, Department of Biochemistry and Anaerobic Microbiology, Blacksburg, USA (1993-1995). • Lecturer of Mycology and Fungal Biochemistry, Botany Department, Faculty of Science, Tanta, Egypt. • Associate researcher at Kumamoto University, School of Medicine, Molecular Genetics Department, Kumamoto 862, Japan (1997-1998). The main goal of the fellowship was concerned with studying the host different genes expression especially those which play role in host defense as response to lung fungal infections at RNA and protein levels. • Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University, School of Medicine, Va Medical Center, Infectious Disease section, 950 Campbell ave. (111-I), west Haven, CT 06516 USA (June-Dec. 2000).
