I am a graduate of Government Medical College Jammu (1990-91) . Did My post graduation in Microbiology From MSRMC, Bangalore in 1987 with first position and University Gold Medal. Done my Senior Residency from Safdarjang Hospital and then joined U.P.S.C. post of Assistant Director and then Deputy Director Incharge of Research & Development at National AIDS Control Organization, MoHFW, Government of India (2002-2006).I was national programme officer for Quality control and initiated EQAS for HIV testing along with hands on training on EQAS and CD4 CD8 Machines. Thereafter I Was Posted to Department of Microbiology, at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjang hospital, New Delhi as Senior Specialist in October 2006 and since then working in same Department, Now as Consultant since 2014. I am a recognized Medical teacher by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi since 2006 and been designated as Professor since 2015. I have 30 publications in various indexed National and International Journals. I have keen interest in Hospital infection Control, and Bio medical waste management and have worked in same field. Currently I am also a Resource person in Bio Medical waste Committee.

Presently I am involved in clinical, Administrative and teaching work of the Institution and guide to MD and other students of Department.
