I am Dr. Shinjan Patra currently a consulting physician in the city of Midnapore in West Bengal district of India. From childhood my passion was to become a doctor and I have successfully achieved that feat with the grace of God and constant support from my parents. I have completed my Post Graduation in Internal Medicine in 2018. Now I am planning to do my post doctoral super-specialization degree in Endocrinology & Metabolism. I have successfully completed a study over hypokalemic paralysis in my post graduation tenure as my thesis and it is successfully published in one of the best journal of India.

My current research interests are Hypokalemic diseases, Motor Neuron Diseases, Autoimmune Polyglandular syndromes etc. I am also working on various infectious disease projects in my institute notable among them is a study over Malaria which will be published in NEJM in due course of time.
