The aim in our lab is to develop the process, in which the membrane separation is connected with fermentation/bioprocess to continuously separate the product from fermentation broth. In frame of a long standing research in the field of mechanically agitated fermenters design, the necessity rises to combine the fermentation process with a continuous separation of the product. For the future completion of the methodology of industrial fermenters design, it is necessary to broaden this research topic, including membrane separation experimental study.
