Dr. Mohammad Delwer Hossain Hawlader, PhD |
Biography : Dr. Mohammad Delwer Hossain Hawlader, PhD is an Epidemiologist and currently holding the position of Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Public Health at North South University (NSU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is a teaching faculty with diverse research background, and having 18 years of professional experience. He is also Visiting Associate Professor in Hiroshima University, Japan and External Associate Supervisor in Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Delwer Hossain has achieved PhD degree from University of Tsukuba, Japan. Prior to this, he has acquired Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Karolinska Institute, Sweden and MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College (SSMC), Dhaka University. He received prestigious “Japanese Government Scholarship (Monbusho Scholarship)” for his PhD study. During his research period, Dr. Delwer Hossain had worked in world renowned “International Center for Diarrhoeal Diseases Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b)” for more than 12 years. He also worked as PPP consultant in Prime Minister’s Office, Government of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. He has published more than 20 research papers in reputed international peer reviewed journals. He is also in the editorial board of several international peer reviewed journals. |

Research Interest : Dr. Delwer Hossain’s research interest is maternal and child health, nutrition, infectious, hematological disorders and chronic disease research. |
