Biography :

Dr. Francesco Marotta, MD (1981) and Specialized in Gastroenterology (1986), was a Fellow in gastroenterology at Chicago University (1982) and Registrar in gastroenterology at University of Cape-Town, South Africa. He received a Japanese-spoken PhD at Hirosaki University, Japan (1990). Fellow of Japanese Ministry of Science at National Cancer Center, Tokyo. Molecular biology stage in UK and South-Korea. Hon. Research Professor at Dept of Nutrition, Texas W University, USA and Adjunt prof. in Gastroenterology at Nutrition dept, Sichuan University, China. Visiting prof. at major Asian universities. Has directed a research center in Japan and cooperated with (Nobel) Prof. Montagnier. Advisory member of the CLS, Nazarbayev University and for the Ministry of Science of Kazakhstan. Editor-board member of over 35 medical journals. Has received several international prizes (Genomic Pioneer-2009 and Thomas Edison Award-2014-shared, Japan Liver Foundation). Has co-edited a successful book on aging-intervention and book chapters on probiotics and vitamins. Co-founder of ReGenera Research Group working on models of preventive/regenerative medicine and applying this as CMO at Milano Medical – Gender Healthy Aging Unit, in Italy. He has published about 145 papers and presented over 430 communications.
