Biography :

Dr. Richard Boudreau is an oral & maxillofacial surgeon, bioethicist, attorney, and forensic expert who serves on the faculty at Loyola-Marymount Univ. Bioethics Institute and Univ. of Calif. Los Angeles Dept. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. His extensive academic credentials include BS, MA, MBA, DDS, MD, JD, PhD, PsyD. His quest for education continued unabated since graduating from USC Dental School and Univ. of Washington, Seattle, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency. He has dutifully and tirelessly volunteered in several academic teaching capacities and committees over many years and has passionate interests in health care, law, theology, philosophy, education, public policy. He especially enjoys analyzing challenging bioethical issues, authoring articles, researching and teaching this scholarly and profound discipline. He is a prolific bioethics lecturer, author, columnist with regular media contributions.

Research Interest :

One of his alma maters, Pepperdine Univ., honored him in 2011 with the ‘George Award’ which is awarded to recipients who “exemplify integrity, stewardship, courage, and compassion, while enriching the ever changing world through superior skills and spirit.”
