As part of the Leadership team, input in to company strategy, portfolio management, resource planning and people development. Lead, manage, develop and enable execution of a vision for the R&D function to ensure delivery of growth, innovation, productivity and defined timelines, within budgetary constraints. This involves building capability, directing and enabling the R&D team to develop solutions towards consumer health care, meeting customer and contract targets, compliance needs and being the supplier of choice for the vitamin and medical confectionery category. Drive continuous improvement in product and process development to ensure all aspects of product manufacture are safe and fit-for-purpose. Review and releases regulatory proposals or information required for regulatory filings. Support excellence in manufacturing through standard setting and technical capability development and deployment. Support and, were appropriate, optimization of processes by applying sound scientific reasoning (first principles) and following integrated process and technology strategies, triggering post launch development, when needed

Expertise in technical and management level experience with/ API/ Pharmaceutical industries .drug development and product evaluation pharmaceutical and fine chemical industry with leading companies experience in drug development. Proven success in project management with a thorough understanding of CMC, GMP, ICH and FDA guidelines along with a good knowledge of regulatory affairs.
