Dr. Jeng-Hsien Yen received his MD, MSc, and PhD from Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan. He was trained as a resident in Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital. He had been a postdoctoral fellow at Rheumatology Lab of Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been a professor of Kaohsiung Medical University since 2002. He was the Dean of College of Medicine, Dean of College of Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University (2012- 2018). Now he is a professor at Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine and the chief of Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital.
