Eugenia Yiannakopoulou works as an Academic Teacher in the Department of Medical Laboratories of the Faculty of Health and Caring Professions, Technological Educational Institute of Athens (Athens University of Applied Sciences), Greece. In addition, since 2015 she works as a Faculty Staff of the Master in Science Biomedical Methods and Technology in Diagnosis organized by the Department of Medical Laboratories Highest Technological Educational Institute of Athens [lectures on hereditary and familial endocrine cancer]. Since 2004, she is Director of her own private medical practice where she works as a consultant surgeon with special interest in Endocrine Surgery and Breast Surgery. Since 2007 she works as a PI with research interests including minimally invasive surgery and surgical stress, neuroendocrine surgical stress, pharmacological modulation of neuroendocrine surgical stress, minimally invasive endocrine surgery.
