Director of the Pain Therapy unit of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome and Professor of Pain Therapy at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, the University of Cagliari and the University of Padua. He is also Visiting Professor of the University of Rome Biomedical Campus. He was a member of the Ethics Committee of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, Member of the National Commission of the Ministry of Health for Pain Therapy and Palliative Care and Expert of the Superior Council of Health for Pain Therapy. He is Founder and Editor in Chief of the Journal of Clinical Trials & Research, and is a member of the Editorial Board of numerous international scientific journals.
