Medical ophthalmologist since 2008. He served as chief physician of the neurophthalmology service of the Cuban Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery from 2009 to 2011. Medical Director and Neurophthalmology at Ophthalmology Hospital Amistad Algeria Cuba, Djelfa in Algeria, between 2011 and 2014. Professor at the Faculty of medicine at the Diego Portales University in Chile from 2016 to date. He is currently an ophthalmologist and coordinator of the ophthalmology service of the Cordillera Province Hospital in Chile.
