 Development and standardization up to 10-color flow cytometry panels for the analysis of leukemia and also data anaysis/reporting, results interpretation.  Development of protocols for staining including staining of lymph nodes, human PBMCs, lyse no-wash staining of human and cytoplasmic staining.  Operated and maintained Fc500, Gallios and Cyan flow cytometer. Responsibilities included daily calibration, operation, maintenance, instrument diagnosis, and trouble-shooting. Implemented proper instrument quality control and record keeping.  Trained staff and senior residents on Cxp, Summit and Kaluza software, proper instrument use, and education in multicolor flow acquisition and analysis.  Titrated antibodies and other critical reagents, optimized fluorochrome selection in antibody panels, and analyzed FMO controls.  Processing and analysis for Minimal Residual Disease in Acute Leukemia including B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Acute Myeloid Leukemia and other.  CD34 count study is also done for stem cell harvesting for bone marrow transplantation.  DNA Ploidy analysis in leukemia.  Wide experience in maintaining and troubleshooting flow cytometers.
