Dr. Gannu Praveen Kumar is currently working as Professor and Principal in Sahasra Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences since April 2004, graduated from H.K.E’s society college of Pharmacy, Gulbarga University in 1997, post graduation from BITS, Pilani in 1999 and doctoral program from Kakatiya University in 2009. He has published in both National and International journals. He received Gem of India award in the year 1999. He was selected as a best academician of Vaagdevi college of Pharmacy in 2002 and of Talla Padmavathi college of Pharmacy in 2011. He visited London, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain and USA as invited speaker.

In October 2011, I joined St. Peter’s Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences well supported by international grants. I had the option of working more independently where I conducted original research investigating the development of chronotherapeutic delivery systems and transdermal delivery systems. The end results of this research include refinement of my fundamental concepts. Much of this work is ongoing, and I have assisted with the analysis and publication of these results in international conferences and journals. I also spent over a year researching in developimg few products for pharmaceutical companies funded by them. The project has since concluded with a deliverable that is in use as a prototype by many of the young scientists.
