Dr. Thomakos received his medical degree from the University of Athens and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, “Alexandra” Hospital, University of Athens, a European Board and College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (EBCOG) accredited Centre for Obstetrics & Gynecology. Previous experience and scientific background consists of Clinical and Research Fellowship program at Baylor College of Medicine and at MD Anderson Cancer, Houston, Texas and at the Northern Gynecological Oncology Center, Queen Elizabeth, Gateshead, U.K. His current position is Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology / Gynecological Oncology at the 1st Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, “Alexandra” Hospital, University of Athens.
