  Biography :

Chih-Wen Lin studied China Medical University in Taiwan and graduated in 1998. Dr. Lin completed a clinical fellowship in Cathay General Hospital, Taipei, and is a visiting attending in Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Department of internal medicine, E-Da hospital/I-Shou University since 2005. Following this, Dr. Lin is a clinical fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a research scientist at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine in USA during 2009-2011. Dr. Lin earned his Ph.D. degree from Graduate Institute of Medicine, School of Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan from 2012-2016. Now, Dr Lin is chief of Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at E-Da Dachang Hospital, I-Shou University and Vice Director of Department of Health Examination Center, E-Da Hospital, I-Shou University, Taiwan.

Lin has been actively involved in clinical, basic, and translational research in hepatocellular carcinoma, hepatitis B and C virus, NAFLD, alcoholic liver disease, liver regeneration, autophagy.

  Biography :

Dr. Yury Evgeny Razvodovsky is currently holding the position of Head of the Department in the Institute of Biochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and Professor of International Academy of Sobriety. He has worked as associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and a senior research scientist in the Scientific Laboratory (Alcohol and Drug-Related Problems Research Group) at the Grodno State Medical University (Belarus). He has published about 1000 papers in English and Russian language peer-reviewed journals and 30 monographs. He is a founding member of the International Society of Addiction Medicine (ISAM), presiding member of the International Academy of Sobriety (IAS), national representative for Belarus of World Suicidology Net and is an active member of National Association of Psychiatrists.

Dr. Palash Mandal, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at P. D. Patel Institute of Applied Sciences of CHARUSAT University. He has held this position since December 2015. Before that he was an Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences Department of BITS PILANI Hyderabad campus. He has held this position since November 2010 to December 2015. In 1995, Dr. Mandal received his B.Sc in Chemistry at the University of Kolkata. He went on to earn his M.Sc degree in Biochemistry in 1997 at University of Kalyani. Dr. Mandal completed his PhD degree at Bose Institute and Jadavpur University. He obtained post-doctoral and research associate training from department of Immunology and Pathobiology of Cleveland Clinic, USA (2003-2010).

His research interests include: TLR4 signaling, oxidative stress and inflammation in both alcoholic and nonalcoholic liver diseases and to explore novel therapeutic targets for the treatment of this disorder, role of microbiota in liver disease, innate immunity and cytokines in liver diseases, mechanisms and biomarkers of apoptosis in liver disease. His research interests also include Regulation of Inducible Gene Expression in Mononuclear Phagocytes, Regulation of Chemoattractant Cytokine Expression in Tissue Inflammation and Chemokine Function. His research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. G. L. Gupta is an Associate Professor in Department of Pharmacology at SPP School of Pharmacy and Technology Management, SVKM’s NMIMS University, Mumbai, India. He received his M.Pharm. in Pharmacology, and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the year 2005 and 2009, respectively. He has published several scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals like Neuropharmacology, Neurochemistry International, Phytochemistry Reviews, etc. and presented his research work at conferences of National and International repute. Dr. Gupta has also received the Young Scientists Award, several Travel grants, best oral presentation award, the Government funded research projects from Science, Engineering and Research Board (SERB), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Dr. Gupta is a Life Member of several professional bodies, including the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Society for Ethnopharmacology (SFE), Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS), Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Indian Pharmacy Graduates' Association (IPGA). He is also an Editorial Board Member of Austin Journal of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Research and etc. He has also been nominated as CPCSEA member by Animal Welfare Division, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India.

  Biography :

Dr. Richardson is a Board-Certified Medical Psychologist who is registered as a Clinical, Counselling and Health Psychologist Practitioner in the UK, licensed in Oregon (USA), a vetted eating disorders specialist, and an experienced Neuropsychologist who has worked with children, adolescents and adults. He has been in the field since 1975 when he obtained his certification as a Trainer/Educator/Practitioner by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy (ABEPSGP). He began treating Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Dissociative Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, bipolarity, and other conditions in 1975. He was the neuropsychologist for the HIV-Associated Neurocognitive Disorder Study through the Clinical Research Centre, Malaysia Ministry of Health, located in Penang, and provided psychological and neuropsychological services in Lincoln City, Oregon for several years. Dr. Richardson has completed extensive post-doctoral training, and is Board-Certified in both Advanced Psychopharmacology and Medical Psychology. He has authored various articles over the last thirty years in eating disorders, addictions, psychiatric conditions, neurobiology, and clinical practice. He is currently at Greater Ozarks Rural Psychologists LLC in Mansfield, Missouri as a psychologist, a clinical consultant/speaker, and a writer internationally.

Dr. Richardson’ research interest are diverse focusing on complex clinical cases posing significant challenge to patients and clinicians such as: • integration of natural and pharmacological treatment for psychiatric conditions, • the biological and functional impact of visual processing disorders, • neurobiological and psychological aspects of environmental toxins on function and possible treatment options, • eating disorders, • refinement of diagnostic detective work and pattern recognition, • how to minimize negative aspects of psychiatric conditions while utilizing positive aspect of these conditions, • neurobiological fingerprints of psychiatric conditions, • impact of politics on medical and psychiatric care (and provider preparation),
