He has made significant contributions to the cognitive computation of audio-visual information, in particular, in the field of cognitive integration of multisensory information, which will significantly change the intelligent information processing technologies and their applications. He and colleagues have pioneered an efficient spatial filtering algorithm by maximizing the SNR of the ERPs, which was based on a probabilistic generative model designed for estimating the time-locked and phase locked ERP components. The new approach opens a novel and revolutionary window into complex event-related brain data (EEG/ERP) based on the fact that the algorithm can converge within a few iterations warrants fast estimation of ERPs, in each iteration it merely has to solve a generalized eigen-value decomposition problem, and its computational load is quite low.

Dr. Jing Lu currently works as a professional medical writer and editor in the clinical medicine and biological science field. Previously she worked as a Senior Scientist on molecular imaging at Roche after she completed her postdoctoral training at University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Awale has fifteen years’ experience in General surgery, Urology, with special interest minimal invasive surgery, Ventriculoperitoneal shunts, ureterolithotomy ,nephrectomies, hernia repair, varicocelecetomis and endoscopic procedures. during his time he operated more than five thounsand patients which include Ceaserian sections,penetrating abdominal, chest and head injuries, open prostatectomies, hernias repain, hydrocelectomies, varicocelectomies, decortications of chest,and benign and malinganatat tumours in the body. He is senior surgeon and senior lecturer, he teaches medical students for basic surgical skills, General surgery and Urology. He is working at international hospital, Somali National university which the only public university that Somalia have and Simad University in which is private nonprofit university.

Minimal Invasive surgery including Urology, surgical Oncology, Trauma and surgical infections. Writing and Reviewing surgical articles.
