Jian-Hui Jiang obtained his Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry from Hunan University in 1999, and began his academic career at the same university. He had a postdoctoral and a visiting professor fellowship at Kwansei Gakuin University in 2001 and 2003. He has become a full professor at College of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering of Hunan University since 2003. His research interest includes bioanalytical chemistry, biosensors and chemometrics. He has accumulated over 300 peer-reviewed research publications with H index of 55 and over 11,000 citations, and won honors including Outstanding Young Scientists Funding of NSFC, Young and Middle-Aged Leading Scientists, Engineers and Innovators by Ministry of Science and Technology of China, RSC Fellow, and National Natural Science Award.

His research interest includes bioanalytical chemistry, biosensors and chemometrics.
