Biography :

Chong Cheng is a DRS and AvH postdoc researcher in Freie Universität Berlin. He obtained his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Changsheng Zhao. From 2013, he had been doing research works at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with Prof. Nicholas A. Kotov as Joint-Training Ph.D. student. After finishing his Ph.D studies, he joined the group of Prof. Dr. Rainer Haag as a DRS POINT and Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Freie Universität Berlin in 2015. Since 2010, his publication includes over 70 papers on chemical and biomaterial journals. His current research interests focus on designing low-dimensional nanomaterials for catalytic energy materials, biological electrodes, tissue regeneration and stem-cell therapy.

Research Interest :

Dr. Cheng is a DRS and AvH postdoc researcher in Freie Universität Berlin. He received his Ph.D degree from Sichuan University. He has the honour of receiving several scholar ships and awards including China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation Scholarship, National Scholarship Award for Graduate Students of China, Committee of 100 Leadership Scholarship Award of USA. His research interest include micro-nanostructured porous carbon as highly efficient catalysts, Designing graphene, CNT and porous carbon based electrochemically-active, conductive and bioactive nanoarchitectures for neural and cardiac tissue regeneration, biological electrodes, implantable and stretchable Mg-biobattery, Synthetic polymers, supramolecules, nanomaterials and scaffolds for anticoagulant, anti-inflammation, anti-bacterial membranes and composite biomaterials. He has published over 70 papers and has an H-Index 30 and citation 2500.
