Rajeshwar Malavath has completed his M. Sc.(Ag) in the department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry from ANGRAU, Hyderabad and PhD from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural College and Research Institute, Coimbatore, India. He has more than 15 years of experience both as Mandal Agricultural Officer for about 2 years, Research and Transfer of technology for 8 years and teaching in Agricultural University for about 5 years. He has consistently good academic record and has attended 12 training programmes and presented paper at 23 national conference/ workshops. He was also awarded the best extension officer award by the state Department of Agriculture, Best Scientist award during Sankranti Puraskaralu, Mother Teresa memorial award, Distinguished Scientist Award and State NSS Best Programme officer Award. He has published 30 research articles in reputed journals. In addition he has published more than 60 popular articles for the welfare of farming community in local language and attended more than 50 live Television and Radio programmes. He has been working as NSS (National Service Scheme) Programme Officer since 4 years and conducted several student personality development programmes and special camps to create awareness among the farmers on modern innovative technologies in agriculture. Further he had several press coverages to create awareness among the farming community. Due to which he has been awarded as state NSS best Programme officer for the 2016-17. At present he is actively involved in teaching a P.G and U.G courses in agriculture besides getting actively involved in offering advisory services through soil health care laboratory. He has been guiding 4 PG and Ph.D students as a major Advisor and as member 6 students PG research. He has been working as Director for AELP on Soil Health Management from past 4 years.
