Dr. Ali Naghoni is a Lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, Islamic Azad University, Iran. He completed BSc. And MSc. of Microbiology at Islamic Azad University in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He obtained Ph.D. in Environmental and Applied Microbiology at the Isfahan University in 2017. He has published more than 15 paper in well-reputed journals. Dr. Naghoni is actively involved in research work and completed a project on Prokaryotic diversity in Lake Meyghan. He described the metagenomic analysis and culture dependent analysis of the microbial community composition in an Iranian salt lake and have completed several other projects. Moreover, Dr. Naghoni is working as reviewer for several journals. He received several award and chosen as Nation-wide Exemplary Student in the field of Biology-Microbiology in 2010 (Iran). He achieved top researcher in Young Researchers and Elite Club in 2010 and 2011. He won the best poster presentation in the 10th Iranian Congress of Microbiology (2009).
